Good news to Christians around Tacoma, WA. An after-school Satan Club in the area has decided to discontinue due to the lack of sign-ups. Reports reveal that only one child signed up. Apparently, the kids in Tacoma are simply not interested in being used as ideological props by some Satanists.
First offered in December 2016, the Seattle Satanic Temple made it a target to recruit youngsters into their religion because it’s said that they cannot stand the propagation and success of the wholesome, Christ-centered Good News Clubs that is currently going on in many public schools in the U.S. They have tried to start after-school clubs in public schools following the ruling of the Supreme Court that these clubs had a First Amendment right to meet at the school. The Satanists were then quick to use the ruling to their advantage.
Fortunately, not many kids in Tacoma are into such organization. “The so-called Satanist Temple and its after-school club had nothing good to offer students, so it was only a matter of time before it fizzled out. The so-called Satanic Temple group is not legitimate. It’s a handful of atheists masquerading as so-called Satanists whose only reason for existence in schools is to be disruptive and oppose the Good News Clubs,” he told CBN News.
CBN says that the after-school Satan clubs such as those offered in schools in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Pensacola, Portland, Salt Lake City and Springfield, Missouri, often serve to promote evolution, gender confusion, and abortion. Aside from that, they exist simply to spite Christians.
