What To Do When Expectation and Reality Don’t Match?

There are a lot of people who keep on asking God about the fulfillment of the promises that He planted in our hearts. There are moments when it feels like you can no longer see the promises coming in your life because your present situation is very far from what He has been telling you. The abundance and prosperity that He told you happened to be exactly the opposite of your current situation. And then you will start to doubt God’s promises.

And if you are one of those who currently experienced this kind of moment in life, then you need to be reminded of this very important words.

You Are Marked!

God already ordained and anointed you with possessions. And all you need to do is to trust the process. Wait for God to move and along the process of waiting to learn to enjoy His presence. God is still preparing and molding you. Just like how He prepared David, He will also equip you with the skills and the character that you need in order for you to be able to handle the blessings that He wants to give to you.
In the process of waiting for His promises, you need to become the answer to the problem. It simply means do what God called you to do for the moment and work on what is in your hands. God will allow you to taste the future not as a person of interest but as somebody to serve, so use this moment to serve the people around you. Be a good steward of the blessings that you currently have. Remember also that opportunities are wrapped in obedience. Learn to obey God in every little thing that He instructs you and watch as He gently molds and prepare your heart for a person that He called you.

If you think that you are already in a mess and you can no longer feel His blessings then it’s about time for you to start leaning on God’s understanding of your present situation. Trust Him with all your heart and allow God to move in His own ways.
