Cory Asbury’s new worship song “Reckless Love” touched millions of hearts after it was released on March of 2017.

And just recently, someone sent Cory a video of a woman singing this worship song for the homeless people. He then revealed in Bethel Music’s YouTube post that these were the people he had in mind while writing the song.

“I am so wrecked by this video someone sent me yesterday. THESE are the people I had in mind when I wrote this song – the broken, the hurting, the not-so-perfect. Jesus didn’t come to save the saved, He came to save the lost. What a beautiful display of the Father’s love.” – Cory Asbury

This is truly heart-melting! Makes me wanna cry.

Reckless Love

Verse 1

Before I spoke a word
You were singing over me
You have been so, so
Good to me
Before I took a breath
You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so
Kind to me

Chorus

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it
I don’t deserve it
Still You give yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

Verse 2

When I was your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so
Good to me
When I felt no worth
