3 Benefits Of Marrying A God-Fearing Person

A God-centered marriage is the most secure and loving kind of marriage. If God is in the center of a union, He’ll surely lead it according to His perfect plans. That is why both the husband and wife should learn how to trust in the Lord completely and pursue God first more than anything else. That will surely make the marriage a joyful and loving one until death do them part.

Men and women, choose to in a blessed marriage by choosing a God-fearing man or woman. Here are a few benefits of having a God-fearing spouse.

1. God’s will is prioritized.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. (Matthew 6: 33)

The usual reason why a marriage fails is because of selfish reasons. When a wife or a husband prioritize their self-needs first before God, it creates a problem that can sometimes be difficult to fix. But Godly spouses continually seek God first and everything else just falls into place including their marriage.

2. God’s character pervades the home.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. (Ephesians 5: 25)

Godly spouses will seek to be Christ-like in all they do and that includes the way they treat their spouses and family. A God-fearing spouse can be as loving, as merciful, as righteous and as gracious just as Christ. This may sound like too good to be true but I believe in this and I have seen marriages like this. This becomes all possible by the grace of God.

3. God’s word will prevail in the home.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)

When a spouse fully trusts in the Lord, no matter what happens to the family, God’s word will never fail and his promises will still endure forever.

God will never leave His child behind, so a God-fearing family will never be an “orphan.” They have the Almighty God by their side to be with them for better or worse. God’s Kingdom invasion starts from your very own home.
